The Lyons House + Luxe Carriage House

Our family of six adults from Nashville, New York, and Denver reunited for eight days in Savannah for Thanksgiving. We rented both the Lyons House and the Carriage House for our group. The properties exceeded our expectations for grandeur, cleanliness, well-thought out items to make our stay comfortable, including a Welcome basket filled with treats and beverages. Besides comfortable bedrooms and multiple bathrooms, this property was conveniently located in the Historic District. Shopping was only a two minute walk away, the Riverfront was eight minutes, Telfair was seven minutes, and City Market was a ten minute walk. We have stayed in Savannah multiple times and this by far was the most convenient to restaurants, shopping, museums, and other sites. A parking pass was supplied for our Suburban vehicle at a City Garage one block away. A garage was available for a compact car on the property. We enjoyed the outdoor courtyard with a large table with chairs for the main house and another table for the Carriage House. Our group enjoyed cooking breakfast in the well appointed kitchen, visiting and watching TV in the beautiful living room, playing board games and eating in the dining room, sitting at the impressive bar enjoying drinks. The Carriage House is very modern and luxurious. The Hosts were attentive, easy to communicate with, and obviously took great care to make sure our stay was comfortable and memorable. We look forward to staying again at this property.
